The 2020 Yellow Conference

CONFERENCE BRANDING

The Yellow Conference is an electric gathering of creative, entrepreneurial women. I created the event branding and creative direction for their 2020 conferences, which were originally set to take place in both Los Angeles and New York, but due to the pandemic, took place as virtual events.

The theme for Yellow’s 2020 Conferences was “The Becoming”, and I wanted its branding and design direction to visually reflect that time of transition. In different seasons, light looks differently. It is colored by our experiences, and literally where the earth is taking up space. During transitions in life, we can grow impatient with seeing progress, and how slowly time seems to pass. But, we are reassured by the evidence in our environment that motion is indeed taking place. My visual concept was made to reflect this experience by representing movement, varying light, and sun-drenched, late summer hues.

Yellow Co. is an inclusive network for entrepreneurial women & non-binary leaders making an impact. They exist to guide women into deeper connection with themselves, their work, and others. This is done through conferences, a membership platform, in-person experiences, and digital content.
